INTRODUCTION OF
UTILITY 2000
The Year 2000 Research Group has been researching solutions for the client/server environment, and have located a new software tool just developed by the Advanced Technology Transfer Group (ATTG) from Toronto, Ontario. Their UTILITY 2000 software establishes a high level of performance. If scanning source code accurately at 100,000 lines a minute interests you, there are also code
editing, performance reporting and audit trail capabilities that are illustrated
below.
 UTILITY 2000 was
developed to reduce year 2000 costs significantly, by delivering enormous
productivity gains as a result of its unprecedented speed, dependable accuracy
and ease of use. It was specifically developed by Y2K professionals for
those IT professionals who are faced with the difficult task of ensuring
that their client/server applications are fully operational before the year
2000.
UTILITY 2000 is written for Visual Basic 3, 4, & 5; C, C++ , Java, and Power Builder, Microsoft Access and Excel.
UTILITY 2000 for
ADA and Fortran will be available February, 1998. IT management and
the project team can now manage the risks and costs associated with their
year 2000 efforts much more easily.
